KUALA LUMPUR: Bersatu Youth Information Chief Harris Idaham Rashid asked whether some statements in Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh’s book Becoming Hannah reflect the stance of DAP. “One matter that needs to be investigated is whether the statement reflects the stance of DAP, as politicians usually do not act beyond their party’s framework. If the police find that it violates DAP’s principles, then DAP must be banned as a political party in the country.”.

Harris referred to statements in Yeoh’s book Becoming Hannah, claiming it contains evangelical Christian elements that may contravene Malaysia’s multi-religious norms and laws. He questioned if Yeoh’s actions reflect the stance of her party, DAP, suggesting the party could face legal repercussions if found in violation of the Federal Constitution.
