No shame PAS is now talking as if they own the government and are trying to impose conditions before they join the government headed by DS Anwar Ibrahim, with a PAS Terengganu member saying the party needs to put forward its MPs of ‘caliber’ to hold “key positions” in the cabinet. So, suddenly, PAS eyes major cabinet posts in the government?
Anwar made a call to all parties to join the government in a bid to bring stability to the country and for them to work with him in redressing the country’s economy and politics.
However, for the PAS, it appears this is about power and about getting the best posts in the Cabinet, perhaps with some intentions to block Anwar in his move to ‘repair’ the ills done by the two plus years of PAS-PN in government.
Setiausaha Pertubuhan Kebajikan Lepasan Pelajar Undang-Undang dan Hak Asasi Manusia (oops) Terengganu, Datuk Fariz Irwan Mustafa went far as to say Pas leadership plays an “important role” in the kingdom ‘to ensure transparency and smooth administration.’
