PAS Vows to Respect Non-Muslim Rights if Elected in GE16

As Malaysia looks ahead to GE16 in 2027, PAS has voiced its ambition to lead Perikatan Nasional and the nation. Deputy President Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man assured that PAS would uphold the religious rights and lifestyles of non-Muslims, rejecting claims of extremism.

Speaking in Kedah, he emphasized that Islamic teachings prohibit forced conversion and promote fairness across all races. Addressing public concerns, he cited Kelantan’s Wat Phothivihan Temple as proof of religious coexistence. 

Tuan Ibrahim stressed that PAS’s leadership is guided by divine accountability, and any injustice would invite not just public rejection—but divine consequences.
