Illegal races on highways are always dangerous and this Sunday, four men died during such an activity while riding motorcycles in a race along the Lim Chong Eu Expressway in Penang.
Local newspapers and Singapore portals are reporting on the illegal race incident. Three of them died on the spot and one died later in hospital.
The motorcyclists were aged 17, 19, 22 and 25 which is reminiscent of the Johor accident that went viral because a driver who was involved in that accident was jailed in what is now known as the basikal lajak case.
