Recently, several social media users have been trolling Yana Najib, daughter of former Prime Minister Najib Razak. Despite the controversies surrounding her father, some netizens argue that she should be treated as an individual and not be judged based on her father’s actions.
Why people should not attack Yana Najib
An X user listed her “credentials” satirically, suggesting she used connections to achieve her success. However, others pointed out that she graduated from Harvard, a significant accomplishment not easily attained.
Another user argues that Yana should be given the opportunity to hold a position and demonstrate her abilities. They emphasise that her father’s mistakes shouldn’t result in her facing the consequences.
Additionally, LHDN has dropped their case against her in 2022 along with the statement from her lawyer that the issue has been resolved.
