Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) may bar contests for the President and Deputy President positions in its May elections to maintain party stability ahead of the next general election. PKR International Bureau Chairman Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin stated that while no official decision has been made, internal discussions favor focusing on more pressing agendas. The PKR polls, announced by Secretary-General Dr. Fuziah Salleh, will elect leadership for the 2025-2028 term on May 24.
