PUTRAJAYA: PKR vice-president Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad endorsed an “Anwar-Rafizi” leadership combination to ensure the party’s survival. Speaking on Friday, he praised president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s experience in driving reforms and uniting the Madani administration, while deputy Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli’s direct approach helped PKR recover from heavy state election losses, notably securing key Johor parliamentary seats. Despite respecting Anwar’s daughter, Nurul Izzah Anwar, who is challenging Rafizi for deputy president, Nik Nazmi believes the Anwar-Rafizi duo is vital for PKR’s current needs, emphasizing their complementary strengths to navigate the party through challenges.
