A Japan Airlines flight caught fire at Tokyo’s Haneda airport after reportedly colliding with a coastguard plane. All passengers were safely evacuated, but the condition of the small plane’s five crew members remains unknown though Sky News and Nikkei are now saying 5 crew members of the smaller plane have died.

Plane Crashes in Japan
In a separate incident, six bodies were found in the wreckage of a US military CV-22 Osprey aircraft that crashed near Yakushima island. The aircraft, carrying eight people, crashed during a training flight, prompting Japan to request the grounding of Osprey planes in the country. The remains of two airmen are still missing, and Tokyo identified all eight individuals involved.
