Zaid Ibrahim, a former minister, sarcastically questioned whether DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang would dare ask Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim the same question he posed to former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin in 2010: “Are you Malay first or Malaysian first?” Zaid highlighted that Muhyiddin, who once said he was “Malay first,” recently distanced himself from that stance, but Kit Siang refuses to accept this change. Zaid challenged Kit Siang to ask Anwar whether he prioritizes being Malaysian or Malay, and additionally, whether he puts Petronas or Sarawak first. Zaid suggested that if Anwar answers both questions openly and honestly, Kit Siang could continue pressing Muhyiddin, but he believes Anwar would likely evade the questions, and Kit Siang would accept this without objection.
