Perikatan Nasional has dismissed rumours that its headquarters have shut down, with secretary-general Azmin Ali labelling recent reports as “baseless and irresponsible”. Azmin clarified that PN’s Solaris Dutamas lease expired in April and was not renewed by mutual agreement, adding that the coalition is operating temporarily elsewhere while preparing new premises. Reports had claimed staffers were unpaid and laid off for months, but Selangor Perikatan secretary Dr Afif Bahardin stressed operations continue as usual despite the lease ending. The controversy has fuelled questions over PN’s financial and internal stability as it seeks to maintain credibility among supporters.
