Rayer highlighted the gold mining issue involving Akademi Yakin Sdn Bhd (AYSB), which was also linked to former Kelantan Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah. Tensions escalated as other PN MPs questioned Rayer’s alleged “malicious intent.”
The session was disrupted, and Deputy Speaker Alice Lau Kiong intervened. The controversy continued until the Pendang MP’s turn, leading to a decision to adjourn the session until the next day.
