The police arrested a motorcyclist for allegedly verbally abusing Road Transport Department (JPJ) officers and traffic police during a Chinese New Year special operation at the Penang Bridge Toll Plaza.

The 50-year-old, traveling with his Indonesian girlfriend, was fined for riding with an expired Motor Vehicle Licence and without insurance. The situation escalated when informed his motorcycle would be impounded.

Despite efforts to calm him, he continued his aggressive behavior for over half an hour before being detained. State JPJ director, Zulkifly Ismail, emphasized the importance of public understanding of enforcement duties.
