JAKARTA: An Indonesian policewoman has been charged with ending the life of her husband, a fellow police officer, by allegedly lighting him up after dousing him with fuel because of his gambling addiction. The case has cast the spotlight on online gambling in Indonesia. However, it is good to tell people not to take the law in their own hands, whether they are police officers or not!

The incident happened in Mojokerto, East Java, on Saturday (Jun 8), the accused Fadhilatun Nikmah, 28, allegedly handcuffed her husband, Rian Dwi Wicaksono, 27, before dousing him with gasoline and setting him on fire. Local media reported that the victim suffered serious burns all over his body and died the next day after undergoing treatment at the hospital.
