Recently, Tengku Razaleigh mentioned that Ringgit will fall to RM5.5 for 1 USD. This would open a whole can of worms as anything you can imagine that is imported will increase in price. This, for luxury lovers will be bad, as even currently luxury prices are increasing every year.

Back in 2016, a Gucci Marmont belt used to be around the range of RM1,500. Today it would easily cost RM2,500 for the same exact belt. Just last year alone it cost RM2,200. Each year regardless of the brand, a price increase will happen. As the saying goes, get what you want now as tomorrow there might be a price increase.
It is rumored that some of these brands, such as Chanel are doing this to price people out from buying their products. They want high end clientele, and not just the average person to be able to purchase from them.
