However, the starting salaries for fresh graduates it seems is maintaining its rate for the past decade.
Salary isn’t increasing regardless of inflation?
A netizen noticed the peculiar trend and is asking Twitter users what is going wrong with the Malaysian economy. However, others are thinking that the average Malaysian worker has problems when it comes to asking for a raise.
Some are stating that these prices went up immediately after GST was introduced. However, one user claims that everything else got worse after it was removed.
Another user claims that if an employee is stagnant in the same company for decades, it is less likely that their salaries would increase. Furthermore, it is a trend among corporate workers to jump to another company for a higher salary.
