Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, alongside former Prime Ministers Dr Mahathir Mohamad, Muhyiddin Yassin, and Ismail Sabri Yaakob, attended a tea party hosted by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.

However, the event stirred controversy as manipulated images circulated, depicting only Dr Mahathir and his wife at the royal table, omitting pictures of PM Anwar with the royal couple.
Opposition supporters seized the opportunity to spread slander, suggesting Anwar’s exclusion marked the beginning of the end for the Madani government. Despite online rumors, Anwar was present at the royal event, mingling with the Agong and his wife, contradicting misleading narratives.
