Most Malaysians would typically say that private hospitals are generally better than the government run ones, and thus place their trust in them for complex procedures. However, it seems that one is undergoing a complex issue as their assets are possibly going to be seized. 

Private Hospital Facing Asset Seizure After Failing to Pay RM8.3 Million in Damages 

BFM reported that a new born baby suffered from permanent mental and physical damages. The child, born in 2003, was allegedly born 26 weeks prematurely. The family won the suit in 2020. At the end of the Federal Court proceedings, total damages—plus interest—reached RM7.5 million.
