In Singapore, Diona Teh Li Shian, daughter of the late Public Bank founder Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow, shattered records by purchasing a Good Class Bungalow in Tanglin Hill for S$93.9 million—S$6,197 per square foot, the highest ever for such a property. Completed last month, the 1,408-square-meter plot near Orchard Road will house a luxurious two-story mansion with a basement, featuring Japanese oak interiors, a 25-meter pool, and an 18-seater theatre. Built by Meir Homes, the exclusive estate underscores the Teh family’s wealth, rooted in their stake in Malaysia’s second-largest bank. Neither Public Bank nor Teh commented.
