National gymnast Rachel Yeoh Li Wen retained her uneven bars gold at the SEA Games Thailand 2025, scoring 13.300 in the final at Thammasat University on Wednesday. The 26-year-old Penang-born athlete finished ahead of Filipina Haylee Garcia (silver, 12.233) and Singapore’s Coleen Hong (bronze, 10.933).

Despite a history of injuries, Rachel stayed composed and stuck to her rhythm. “It was me against myself today,” she said. She plans to compete until the 2027 Malaysia SEA Games and is targeting qualification for her first Olympics at Los Angeles 2028.
