1 min read

Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli has written to all parliamentarians, urging them to support the formation of a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to investigate allegations surrounding judicial appointments. In his letter, Rafizi also called for MPs to back the Parliamentary Special Select Committee on human rights, elections, and institutional reforms to probe the scandal, including summoning Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for a statement. He further pressed for key judicial vacancies to be filled based on the Judicial Appointments Commission’s recommendations. Several MPs from Pakatan Harapan and Perikatan Nasional confirmed receiving his letter but have yet to decide their stance.
