Rafizi told Anwar he wants to step back from minister and party posts to help in PRU16

During a break, PKR’s Rafizi Ramli held private meetings with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail to discuss strategies for the 16th General Election (PRU16). Rafizi expressed concerns that the government’s defensive campaign lacks the aggressive edge KEADILAN had as the opposition. He offered to step back from the Deputy President race and cabinet to focus on grassroots campaigning, citing constraints as a minister that limit his outspokenness. Both Anwar and Saifuddin urged him to remain in the race and cabinet. Rafizi said he would consider all views before deciding.
