PETALING JAYA: Raghad Kurdi Taib, the widow of former Sarawak governor Abdul Taib Mahmud, has filed a police report after being denied entry to her home by security guards and took to Instagram to share that she returned to Kuching to visit the late husband’s grave and make a charitable donation in his name.

“After Majlis Tautan Kasih Tun Taib in Satok, I drove home but to my surprise, I was not allowed entry to my own house,” she said. “We were turned away at the gate and the guards told me they did not have authorisation to let me in.” Raghad said one guard eventually allowed her in, but he was fired for doing so. She also revealed that Taib’s grave was in poor condition and appeared to have been neglected since his funeral in February.
