The chairman of a private religious studies center in Port Dickson, Mohd Hafidz Eshak, 44, pleaded not guilty to molesting a 19-year-old practical teacher last month. He faces charges of using criminal force to outrage the modesty of the victim on August 18. If convicted, he could be jailed for up to 10 years, fined, or whipped. Deputy public prosecutor Azriff Firdaus Ali proposed a RM50,000 bail, but his lawyer requested a lower amount. The court set bail at RM4,000 and scheduled case management for October 17.
