After the whole controversy of Sabahan ministers getting massive pay increments, netizens mentioned that school children in Sabah are travelling to school on wooden rafts. Apparently the state can’t afford to build a bridge for kids to cross?

How will Malaysia ever be a developed first world nation if we can’t even build proper transportation systems for children to go school with? Netizens mentioned not to blame politicians but instead, blame the voters who put them in power to begin with.

Many made memes mocking what the government has said. One where they mentioned subsidies are a strain on the government, yet they’d happily increase ministers’ wages. Is this what our next generation of society deserve?
