Nowadays, the spark of casual fashion has reached high society. A luxury Italian restaurant in Toronto recently implemented a dress code where customers can’t wear revealing outfits or sportswear. Apparently, there were a number of customers complaining that “bored rich teenagers” come there to eat.

However, it seems that a large segment of netizens are agreeing to this sentiment. TikTokers are stating that there are too many good restaurants that allow their customers to wear whatever they want. Hence, it would be hard for those who would want to celebrate a special occasion.
Some state that in America, upscale dining places are still having a strict dress code. Others claim that these restaurants even have a “smell code” which typically means that their customers need to smell nice.
