Despite Muslim Owned, Netizens say Restaurants NEED Halal Certificate as Cleanliness is A Concern

There has been a debate among social media users regarding if Muslim owned eateries or restaurants should have the Halal certificate. Netizens say that they should have the certificate as there are plenty of “Muslim” owned restaurants and cafes that are allegedly subpar in their cleanliness levels.

Additionally, an X user posted a photo of a restaurant in Melaka, where the cooking utensils are darkened and look unclean. Others state that the dishes and utensils should be replaced every now and then, and with stores like Eco, these things are not as expensive as they used to be. 

Some users then asked, where is the best place to eat? Netizens respond by saying that asking questions that are moving the goal post will not help solve this particular problem.
