Return of the blood moon. Only parts of Asia can see it

1 min read

Today is the return of the blood moon and it is visible in parts of South Asia so folks in other parts, like us in the Asean region, won’t be able to catch the blood moon, it seems.

Today’s full moon is also a supermoon, which means it appears larger and brighter than usual because it is at its closest point to Earth in its orbit, known as perigee.

Parts of the Americas, Antarctica, Europe, Africa, and the eastern Pacific will be able to see the total lunar eclipse. Meanwhile, a penumbral eclipse will be visible in New Zealand, eastern Europe, and the Middle East, where the outer part of the Earth’s shadow covers the moon.

From UAE to the moon!
