Ringgit appreciating over other currencies?
Some users state that it could be due to the possibility that our Prime Minister has handled the situation calmly. Rather than fully fighting against it, the government explored having greater ties with China and negotiating further with the US.
Others state that when our currency dropped from 1 USD to RM3 to 1 USD to RM4.5, it was drastic and traumatising for many. However, with our currency going up against the dollar, exports from us may be pricer to others.
