Malaysians are fearing that the Ringgit is going to fall further within this year. Netizens are preparing themselves for another round of price increases from all the foreign brands that they purchase from. Furthermore, many are upset at the sight of our currency constantly dropping.

Netizens speculate that our OPR rates will have another round of increment or that the government will have to spend the federal reserve in order to keep it down. Neither sounds optimistic.
Others are reminiscing the days when our currency used to be RM4.8 against the US dollar. However, that was during the 1998 recession, and it seems that our currency may hit a new all time low soon.
