MACC chief Azam Baki revealed the money trail also involved luxury items, real estate, and gambling, allegedly linked to a prominent corporate figure with a “Tan Sri” title. So far, 55 witnesses have been questioned, and 14 bank accounts frozen.
Seized assets include luxury cars, property, watches, jewellery, and horses. MACC aims to complete its investigation within two months, while more witnesses and financial records are being reviewed.
