The effects of inflation has apparently led some restaurants to allegedly reduce the size of their meals. A photo of a controversial macaroni dish for RM16 has gone viral, and social media users are in uproar in lieu of it.

X users state the dish being sold for RM16 is a form of highway robbery. For the most part, many would assume for such a dish, the cheese should at least be spread in a nicer manner rather than slapping a slice of processed cheese on it.
Others complained they’ve had spaghetti with sliced sausages for RM19. Regardless, the prices of dishes are a controversial topic for Malaysians, especially in lieu of the inflation today.
