A total of RM704,750 was distributed to 64 Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK) and associations in Kapit, with RM47,000 allocated to 94 students pursuing higher education.

Works Minister and Kapit MP Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi officiated the ceremony, emphasizing transparency and responsible financial management.
He stressed that government aid is ongoing and not tied to election cycles. Major development projects in Kapit include a Mara Professional College, new police station, bridge across Batang Rajang, and a road to Nanga Yong. Future plans involve a hotel, school, and redevelopment of the old airport. Community cooperation is key to success.
