Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s appeal against her 2022 corruption conviction remains on hold as she continues her bid to remove Datuk Mohamed Zaini Mazlan, the High Court judge who found her guilty in the RM1.25 billion Sarawak solar project case.
Rosmah’s Appeal Delayed
Although sentenced to 10 years’ jail and a RM970 million fine, her punishment is stayed pending appeal. Rosmah’s attempt to recuse Zaini has been rejected by both the High Court and Court of Appeal, and will now be heard by the Federal Court on February 25, 2026.
Only after that ruling can her main appeal proceed. Separately, prosecutors have dropped their appeal in her 17‑charge money‑laundering case, confirming her acquittal.
