LONDON, Oct 31 — Manchester United is expected to confirm Ruben Amorim as their new manager after agreeing on a deal with Sporting Lisbon. Reports indicate the 39-year-old coach will remain with Sporting for their next three games, including a Champions League clash against Manchester City, before joining United during the November international break. United paid an additional €1 million beyond Amorim’s €10 million release clause for an early transfer. His debut match as manager is slated for November 24 against Ipswich. Amorim replaces Erik ten Hag, who was dismissed following United’s recent struggles, leaving them 14th in the league.
