A local newspaper says business at Jalan Tar– Lorong Aidilfitri – is booming as if there was never a COVID-19 menace on the country and on businesses to the point that some merchants are raking up to RM10,000 daily in sales.
Most of these small businesses went through a tough time under the COVID lockdowns, but for those who survived and are now operating again, this Raya is a windfall for them.
Their excitement is that the daily sales as Raya are nearing is very high and all products are being sold like hot cakes.
