Cops who allegedly abducted Amri also involved in Pastor Koh’s disappearance, court told now

KUALA LUMPUR: Faisol Abd Rahman, co-founder of NGO Perlis Hope, testified in court about Amri Che Mat’s alleged abduction by Bukit Aman officers, similar to a missing pastor’s case. Amri’s wife, Norhayati Ariffin, reportedly learned of his abduction from a police informant, Shamzaini Daud. Faisol claimed Shamzaini revealed Bukit Aman’s involvement in both cases.

The Cops

Norhayati filed a lawsuit against the police and government for inadequate investigation into Amri’s disappearance in 2016. Suhakam concluded Amri was a victim of enforced disappearance by the state’s Special Branch. The court continues hearings on March 20 and 21.
