The government changes in terms of languages used for curricular subjects has been ever changing from Malay to English to Malay in the last decade or so. It seems that Sarawakian secondary schools will teach science and maths in English.

Netizens are giving props to the local government over there for implementing this. It is important as these subjects will be taught in English anyways when the student enters university. This language transition from school to university will be another unnecessary hurdle for the student to overcome.
Others are hoping that the federal states would change back the curricular to English. Many appear to prefer the English language to be used in schools as it is a world recognised language.
