It is a common practice in the UK that department stores would have massive sales on their luxury items at the end of the year or early of the following year.

Unfortunately, in Malaysia, the sales are not as extravagant as the ones that are being held in Europe. There are luxury sales here, YSL, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Versace and Dior are one of the prominent luxury brands that do offer sales during this time of the year.
However, their sales are limited and restricted as most of the goods they have would’ve been sold out at full price anyways. Furthermore, for brands like Dior, their sales would never include small leather goods, handbags or even shoes.
The amount of people being able to afford these goods are much higher than they are in Malaysia. This is probably due to the lower cost of living that we have in this country and of course the lower wages that we get in complement of the lower cost of living.
