Kuala Lumpur: Senators yesterday asked why is the Parliament postponed indefinitely when 90% of MPs are already vaccinated.
The Dewan Negara members are now making a lot of noise, asking answers from the responsible parties who postponed both the Dewan and the Parliament.
The Dewan Negara members expressed their discontent against the government and Senator Yusmadi Yusoff questioned the reasons for closing the Parliament.
He says the August house should be a safe place to sit because more than 90 per cent of its members and staff have been vaccinated.
He feared the postponement of the parliamentary session was politically motivated.
