A dramatic car fire at Block 980D Buangkok Crescent on the evening of March 23 resulted in seven people being rushed to the hospital. Residents reported a powerful smell of smoke around 8:00 PM before discovering a vehicle completely engulfed in “intense” flames. Witnesses captured footage of thick black plumes rising from the car as a crowd gathered at the scene.
Fiery Car Blast
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) arrived promptly to extinguish the blaze, which left the vehicle’s hood and bumper severely charred. Those hospitalized were treated for smoke inhalation. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
