Former Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli and six other prominent politicians have been named as potential candidates to replace Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, should a leadership change occur before GE16. PAS central committee member Annuar Musa said the list includes DPMs Fadillah Yusof and Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, PAS’ Tuan Ibrahim, Terengganu MB Ahmad Samsuri, PN chair Muhyiddin Yassin, and Bersatu’s Hamzah Zainudin. Annuar said if these leaders unite, they could form a strong parliamentary bloc. The debate follows the “Turun Anwar” rally, which called for Anwar’s resignation, sparking questions about who could succeed him as Malaysia’s 11th prime minister.
