SINGAPORE, March 23 — A 61-year-old former company employee, Judy Teh Mui Eng, was sentenced to three years and three months in jail for misappropriating more than S$1.8 million (RM7.1 million) from her employer. She pleaded guilty to 26 charges of forgery and dealing with criminal proceeds, with over 130 similar charges considered.

Singapore Woman Jailed

Between 2010 and 2017, Teh exploited her role as a personal assistant at a hire-purchase firm, falsifying payment vouchers and cheques to siphon funds for personal businesses and family expenses. The fraud was uncovered in 2017. Despite full restitution, the court proceeded with sentencing.
