Authorities are seeking a seventh person connected to the incident, emphasizing that the deaths were not self-inflicted. Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has called for a swift investigation to mitigate any impact on tourism, a vital sector for Thailand’s economy, which expects millions of foreign visitors this year.
