Some Malaysian social media users are attacking others for eating at McDonalds. This is all through the controversial standpoint the company is in the current Israeli and Palestinian conflict. Now it seems, some are taking it upon themselves to be social justice warriors to attack those purchasing their meals from these fast food companies.
Social media users defending those eating at McDonalds
Social media users state that McDonalds have a number of relief funds for those who need them. This whole problem started when a prominent X user posted a photo that they purchased food from the restaurant. However, another user made bold claims about the other user and the restaurant as well.
The hypocrisy comes in when these users are not willing to ditch their social media platforms. They would say that it is for the betterment of the people. However, there are still alternatives to everything. Needless to say, it is up to an individual’s preference and rights to choose where they’d purchase their items from.
