Social media licensing: Grab distances itself from open letter

Grab Malaysia has distanced itself from an Asia Internet Coalition (AIC) open letter expressing concerns about Malaysia’s new licensing requirement for social media platforms. Grab stated it was not consulted and does not comment on the matter, as it does not affect its operations. The updated AIC letter now includes Meta, Google, Amazon, Apple, LinkedIn, and X.
