Government To Review Economic And Strategic Implications Of West Asia Conflict
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said the special meeting will allow ministers to discuss possible effects of the conflict on Malaysia and determine the appropriate response moving forward.
He stressed that the government’s priority is ensuring preparedness, particularly in protecting the country’s economic stability and the welfare of the people. Authorities are expected to announce further details after the meeting concludes.
Earlier, a special committee led by Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan was formed to analyse the economic impact of the conflict and present its findings to the Cabinet.
