Why is the Standing Ondeh Trending Now?

From blunder to blunder, a PAS MP got fried in Parliament and now the word Ondeh is trending with pictures of  Onde-onde (also spelled as ondeh–ondeh). Now what does the delicious ondeh have to do with the sad ‘ondeh’ in Parliament? The MP in question, the same MP who says DAP leaders are linked to Chin Peng, instead of calling for ‘standing order’ clearly saying ‘standing ondeh’ twice.

Meanwhile, Kepala Batas MP Siti Mastura has requested Jelutong MP RSN Rayer to retract his statement, which suggests linking Singapore’s ex-PM Lee Kuan Yew with communism might damage Malaysia’s bilateral relationships with Singapore. But Jelutong made it clear to the PAS PM, “Saya tak sebut nama. Jangan perasan. Silakan duduk”. Funny the standing ondeh!
