OTA KINABALU, Oct 11 — A revolt is reportedly brewing in Sabah PKR, as more than half of its divisional chiefs accuse party leaders in Kuala Lumpur of imposing “parachute candidates” ahead of the state polls.
Seventeen divisional chiefs and deputies held a closed-door meeting Thursday night, condemning the central leadership’s alleged hijacking of their campaign and candidate lists.

Among the controversial names are Jamawi Jaafar, Ruji Ubi, and Yamani Hafez Musa, all seen as outsiders.
The group warned that local machinery may not cooperate if grassroots leaders continue to be sidelined.
