Students can still go to school in RANTAU PANJANG Come Dec 1 Now

1 min read

Starting December 1, students holding Malaysian IDs commuting daily to schools in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan, must use the gazetted Malaysia-Thailand border route through the Immigration, Customs, Quarantine, and Security Complex (ICQS). The border gates will open earlier at 6 am to facilitate their travel, ensuring safety and compliance. Kelantan police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat emphasized that illegal crossings via Sungai Golok by boat are strictly prohibited due to safety risks. Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek assured that Malaysian students residing in Thailand will have access to dormitories in Kelantan, enabling continued schooling while ensuring their safety and uninterrupted education.
