Apparently, a local supermarket has allegedly listed Pringles potato chips as non-halal. Netizens are surprised that this is happening. Others speculate that these snacks are probably made in a foreign country. But snacks like these are typically halal even if they’re made overseas.

Netizens add that they prefer Mister Potato instead as they state that it is confirmed halal. Furthermore, it is a local brand that is rather successful. It is a popular brand among Malaysians. But, Pringles is also another popular option still. 

Regardless, in Europe they have listed Pringles as a halal product as the potato, oil and other ingredients used are in accordance to the Islamic requirements.
